SICE will participate in the UITP Global Public Transport Summit 2019 held from June 9 to 12 in Stockholm
The biennial Congress & Exhibition "UITP Global Public Transport Summit 2019" will take place in Stockholm (Sweden) between June 9 and 12, 2019, gathering more than 3,400 members from 92 countries.
Being the world´s biggest event dedicated to public transport and urban mobility, this year more than 15,000 visitors and 330 exhibitors from 80 countries will come together in over 40,000 m2. The theme of this year’s event is ‘The Art of Public Transport’ with 7 core topics: planning and governance for improving quality of life in cities, customer service excellence, mobility as a service and the new combined mobility paradigm, attracting new talents and skills, operational excellence, funding and financing, and harvesting innovation.
SICE’s strong commitment with the Nordic region has recently culminated in Trafikverket’s award to implement the Smart Traffic Systems within the Stockholm Bypass project.
