SICE's services in the intelligent mobility management sector are aimed at both public and private organizations. They include the coordinated management, integration and operation of different currently existing transport types: urban traffic, intercity traffic, tunnels and tolls, etc.
SICE participates in all project phases, from initial project design to its subsequent execution, preventive, corrective and evolutionary maintenance and operation.
Projects that SICE has been running for many years across five continents not only bear witness to the company's technical and management capacity, but also its quality, durability and technological innovation.
ADIMOT is an integral smart mobility management tool developed by SICE by applying the highest levels of technology and traffic engineering.
In addition to the centralized management of a city's traffic signals, this system allows other systems such as access control, public transport priority, enforcement, user information through message panels, traffic surveillance cameras, etc. to be integrated and operated. In other words the platform facilitates centralized control for full city mobility management; it improves levels of service and contributes to energy efficiency by decreasing delays and providing detailed real time information to users.
ADIMOT is a fundamental platform for correct system maintenance and operation, focused both on operators as well as specialist traffic engineering personnel. The platform is designed for any type of city - small or large - as it can be adapted to solve specific mobility problems. It complies with worldwide standards regarding protocols used for communication with different pieces of on-site equipment; it includes a multi-algorithm management system that can be used to establish different operation strategies such as time-based, dynamic selection, generation, adaptive and micro-regulation plans, etc.
As a result, ADIMOT is a fundamental tool of SICE's Smart City platform.
SICE's RBG1402-12V Priority and Geolocation System is an integral solution that allows for smart wireless communications between priority vehicles and traffic signal regulation components.
The system is made up of two devices - the onboard component (RBG1402-V) used for the geolocation of the vehicle that sends a green light request along with information about the vehicle's trip, and another component (RBG1402-I) installed in the traffic signal regulator, which processes the information that is received and establishes pre-defined priority strategies.
The system's advantage lies in the fact that the traffic signal regulation component is aware of the position and speed of the priority vehicle in the intersection environment, and it is able to predict in advance the amount of time it will take to reach the stop line.
For decades SICE has been developing and manufacturing traffic signal control equipment. The MFU traffic signal controller, developed and manufactured by SICE, is the most recent example of applied traffic signal technology.
MFU series traffic controllers have been installed in numerous countries around the world, adapted accordingly to operate at high altitudes above sea level, in adverse weather conditions, etc.
In addition, their modular nature means that they can be fitted with Bluetooth technology for remote maintenance, a clock-GPS for correct synchronization when operating in isolated mode, etc., making it the most versatile traffic regulation system on the market.
SICE develops and manufactures surveillance and enforcement equipment to help improve road safety in cities, regardless of size: red light photo equipment, prohibited turns verification, point or section speed control, etc.
In conjunction with the Smart ADIMOT platform, these pieces of equipment contribute to a better traffic flow and a reduction in road accidents.
In awareness of the fact that technology applied to traffic should be managed from a global perspective, SICE develops safety equipment specifically designed for people with reduced mobility.
The SAFECROSS platform applies a certain algorithm in conjunction with artificial vision equipment installed at traffic signal controlled intersections to detect if the crossing is occupied and to partially extend the assigned green light time to ensure that pedestrians can cross safely. The system contributes to more effective intersection management, as vehicles are allowed to pass when there are no pedestrians crossing.
Similarly, the PARKONTOL platform is a piece of equipment designed specifically to solve the problem of improper occupation of parking spaces set aside for groups of people with reduced mobility; the system checks the occupation of these spaces in real time and ensures that the vehicle has an up-to-date permit.
SICE provides station-specific and centralized integration of electro-mechanical, power, ventilation and heating, lighting, escalator and air conditioning installations using SCADAS solutions.
User information and dynamic publicity information systems interconnected with the traffic control system, such as public address systems, intercoms and arrival/departure information panels with passenger notices.
Back office for the consolidation and integration of data on sales and cancellations. Includes tools for auditing takings, billing and generating reports. Also includes clearing, bank management and payment method consolidation tools.
