SICE signs a contract with Alcatel-Lucent for carrying out FTTH roll-out work for Vodafone

SICE and Alcatel - Lucent have reached an agreement to allow SICE to conduct development work on the Vodafone FTTH network.
 
The contracted work includes civil works tasks, laying, connecting and checking the fibre to the home (FTTH) in the sections running between the operator's chamber 0 and the vertical connections within subscribers' buildings.
 
The agreement is for one year, which may be extended in the future, within the development framework of Vodafone's FTTH network in Spain, which is planned to last 3 years.
