Ticketing system for the Lines 3 and 6 of the Santiago Subway (Chile)

The Santiago de Chile Subway network is enlarging in two new lines up to 37 km extension to the present one.

The layout of the line 3 goes by the interior of the operation lines. It has 18 stations and it connects the Santiago northern area with the East side, it begins in the Independencia Sector and Américo Vespucio and it ends in the Tobalaba and Larraín crossroad. It travels a total of 22 km and 6 neighbourhoods: Huechuraba, Independencia, Conchalí, Santiago, Ñuñoa and La Reina.

The layout of the line 6 goes by the interior of the operation lines. It has 10 stations and connects the west side with the east side, beginning its travel in the Pedro Aguirre Cerda Avenue and Departamental and ending at the Los Leones Station reaching the Line 1. It travels along 8 stations: Cerrillos, Pedro Aguirre Cerda, Estación Central, San Miguel, San Joaquín, Santiago, Ñuñoa and Providencia. In both lines, at the surface, there is only the garage, warehouses.

SICE is the company in charge for the supply, installation and commissioning for the ticketing system. Besides that, the company develops and implements the complete ticketing system for the charge network and operation one in the lines 3 and 6 of the Metro de Santiago (Chile). The scope of this actuation includes all the station of the project belonging to the implementation and commissioning of the new lines.
