SICE has participated in the European R&D&I Event organized by Network of Secure Societies National Contact Points – SEREN3 in collaboration with the European Commission. The main requirements for participating in the European calls for proposals H2020 H2020-CIP 2018, H2020-SEC 2018 and H2020-DS 2018 published on October 27th as part of the Social Challenge of Secure Societies which aims at protecting freedom and security of Europe and its citizens were set out.

Thus, SICE has the opportunity to present this kind of European project, providing the technology developed for the comprehensive control and management of tunnels and interurban traffic: SIDERA, and incorporate it along with security plans and action against cyber-attacks and physical attacks.

This event has served as a meeting point where companies such as SICE, technology centers and universities, public bodies and other entities have been able to present themselves and exchange information in order to prepare future H2020 proposals in consortium within this Social Challenge, aiming at protecting critical infrastructures against this type of cyber-attacks and global threats.

It should be noted that SICE has already participated in the H2020 call as a supplier of the Smart City platform for the STARDUST project.
