Replacement of the crude oil dehydration and desalting system at the Samaria II Production Complex
Supply of a new crude oil dehydration and desalting system at the Samaria II Complex, forming part of the Samaria-Luna integral asset.
This system will ensure compliance with specifications regarding water and salt contained in crude oil sent to the Palomas crude oil commercialisation centre. This new process equipment will replace the existing equipment and will allow the system's capacity to be adapted to the installation's current operating ranges. In addition, it will bring greater efficiency and automation to the operations, which in turn will augment the safety of the process and the installation's personnel.
Work description:
- Field survey, topographic and soil mechanics studies.
- Supplementary detailed engineering and design of different process packages.
- Implementation of an intelligent 3D electronic model using Plant 4D software.
- Design, supply, installation and commissioning of process packages:
- Dehydration and desalting
- Closed heating oil system
- Heat exchangers (crude-crude, crude-oil and crude-water)
- Injector packages to prevent incrustation and demulsifiers
- Pump package for managing rinsing water and waste water.
- Dismantling and construction and/or relocation of existing components
- Civil construction works
- Other constructions for infrastructure
- Training, testing, startup and commissioning services.
- Maintenance and temporary operation of the installation
