The SENATI (“National Service of Training in Industrial Work” in English) is in enlargement and improvement process of its headquarters in a national level and in order to furnish its users with quality infrastructures. That is why SICE has been awarded with the ETC enlargement of the Surquillo VS in Lima.
The project consists on the remodelling and enlargement of two floors (third and fourth) in the Environmental Technological building which will be committed to technic-environmental formation. The third floor will be equipped with rooms, laboratories and a reading room, whilst in the fourth, apart from rooms, one instructor room will be executed. Both levels will be vertically connected by 2 fire scapes and an elevator.
Additionally, the project will count on the implementation of the needed auxiliary equipment, such as air conditioner, extractors, lighting equipment, water tanks and fire protection systems.
It should be noted that the SENATI is an entity with more than 50 years of institutional experience created by the Industry National Society in 1960 in order to improve professional education and traditional technical education required by the modern productive activities and it nationally counts on more than 70 establishments. This projects represents to SICE what is expected to be a long relationship with the institution.
