Modernization and the improvement of a range of processes are necessary in the hydrocarbon production and refinery sector in order to meet demands of production, hydrocarbon quality, process safety and/or to reduce atmospheric emissions.
SICE has experience in EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) projects for the modernization of infrastructure, plants and processes in the hydrocarbon production chain, from on-site phase separation to storage and distribution terminals, including the various processes involved in refining and transport.
The purpose of these systems is to measure the flow of hydrocarbons in accordance with international recommendations of OIML R117, OSI and API standards. SICE selects the most appropriate technology for its customers based on the characteristics of products whose flow is to be metered, and on all other desired operational requirements (maintenance level, precision, uncertainty, etc.): ultrasound meters, mass flow meters, turbines or other types of technology.
Fire and gas (F&G)systems allow the safety conditions of installations to be monitored in real time. Their main purpose is early detection, warning and the immediate activation of the automatic response to the incident that has occurred, thereby helping to avoid or mitigate damages to people and installations
The purpose of an ESD is to protect personnel, installations and the environment when conditions of risk arise in the process. Its function is to automatically analyse process conditions to prevent risk situations or to mitigate the consequences of risks, and to ensure that the process and installations are put in a "safe condition" in the event of an emergency
The purpose of these projects is to carry out any work at production facilities necessary to maintain reliability, availability and safety conditions at the facilities. Their main objective is to increase the productivity of the facilities by improving separation, transfer and storage processes:
