Structured-wiring contract award at BBVA Finance City

SICE, through its subsidiary TELSA, will design and install the voice and data network for the main building at the new BBVA Finance City in Las Tablas, Madrid.

The building, which will have over 8,000 category-A sockets, will be equipped with the InVisio smart management system from Commscope, the world’s leader in network technology. In a pioneering development in building environments, TELSA will integrate this system with Cisco network technology,

The building, which is intended for the bank’s cash department, has one of the highest point densities in the sector and will be a technological benchmark.

The works began in October 2012 and the building is scheduled to be operational by April 2013.
