FGV (Valencian train network) awards the Joint Venture SICE & ENYSE the maintenance service of the signalling, level crossing and telephone facilities of the line 9 between Benidorm and Denia

Ferrocarriles de la Generalidad Valenciana (FGV) has awarded SICE & ENYSE JV the maintenance service of the signalling, level crossings and operation telephone facilities for the Line 9 between Benidorm and Denia, Alicante. The works scope include preventive (cyclical, depending on status, predictive, extraordinary) and corrective maintenance.

These both companies are currently working in the signalling and telephone equipment for the operation of the L9 Benidorm-Denia line, so the maintenance contract starts when these works are finished. Nowadays stage 1 has been put into service and stage 2 the EiS23 technology is being implemented for the new electronic interlocking.

The timeframe for implementation is 22 months long, existing the possibility of a subsequent extension of 2 additional years.

This award reinforces SICE TyS’ technology implementation and maintenance in the FGV network.
