Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) for Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM)
Development of an intelligent traffic system (ITS) to aid traffic operations on motorways managed by the company ADM (all toll motorways in Morocco). Supply and roadside installation of variable message panels, data collection stations and video surveillance equipment.
This system will facilitate ADM's management of its motorway network, allowing for traffic management, incident detection and management, monitoring of work in the field, localisation of assistance vehicles and providing real time information on traffic conditions to motorway users, among other interested parties.
Its equipment includes:
- Variable message LED panels, able to display text in French and Arabic
- Panel installation gantries
- Data collection stations
- Mobile video surveillance cameras
- Work stations for displaying video
- Optical fibre cable, power supply and channelling
- Servers for real time, delayed time and Internet applications
- Operator stations, with double screens, and delayed time applications
- Platform for accessing the tunnel control system
- Traffic control software developed in its entirety by SIC
- Video surveillance system software
